Yin Yoga class is an awareness yoga practice where the participants are introduced to breathing and meditation exercises while holding in passive yoga postures held for usually 3 - 10 mins. The aim is to calm the fluctuations of the mind while harmonizing chi (energy life force) in the fascia channels and the connective tissues. This class will be beneficial for anyone who wants to try out meditation but find it difficult to sit still while meditating, and for those who are in need of deep relaxation.
